18th Century Polonaise
The material is 100% linen. I have paired it with a red silk petticoat, and a large bum-roll. It polonaises with three sets of ribbon and loops underneath the outer skirt.
It is entirely hand stitched except in piecing the long lines of the skirt together. I created a box pleated edging of the same material to trim the bodice. The sleeves are sans ornament.
